PSG director goes nightclub hopping in bid to banish Neymar and Co’s ‘bling bling’ era

Revered former Lille signing chief Luis Campos is currently embarked on a nightclub hopping spree investigating bars and clubs in what could otherwise sound as the perfect ruse to enjoy the party life.

Campos is reportedly hitting some of Paris’ top nightspots in a bid to better understand what makes his party-loving PSG superstars tick in their nightclubbing habits.

Campos – known for his uncanny knack of landing signing gems – already seems to be moving towards a shift in tactics in his early recruitment drive with the Qatari-backed big spenders.

Gone are the box office names with more puffing than pudding who are being replaced with key role players such as Porto’s Vitinho and Renato Sanches. And now Campos’ dedication to his job seems to be taking him way beyond the boardroom and the pitch as he hits the districts after dark. Brazilian superstar Neymar has long boasted a reputation for relishing the veracity of a voracious social life while star man Kylian Mbappe has also been caught on film enjoying the finer things in Paris after dusk over the years.

And now Campos is leaving no dance floor unturned in the search for answers over what former PSG striker Pablo Sarabia described as the ‘bling’ life. Apparently both Campos and boss Christoph Galtier are united in their common cause to alter the culture which led to former managers Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino leaving the Parc des Princes.

And now Campos has evidently sent a message that the good times shall now be reinterpreted to be applicable only to the pitch in the quest for sustained success and fulfilment, with the likes of Lionel Messi and Mbappe expected lead the charge to secure the elusive Champions League glory that had again escaped their grasp last season.
