Cristiano Ronaldo is now the fifth all-time top scorer in the history

A brace during Juventus 2-1 win against Parma helped Cristiano Ronaldo to overtake German football legend Gerd Muller, to be the fifth all-time top scorer in the history.

The 33-year-old has scored in his 7th consecutive games this season, adding to his goalscoring tally to 736 goals throughout his professional career so far.

Ronaldo is also in good position to overtake Real Madrid and Hungarian football legend, Ferenc Puskas who scored 747 goals.

Pele is the current third all-time top scorer with 767 while another Brazilian legend Romario scored 772 goals during his career.

Josef Bican remained the ultimate all-time top scorer with 805 goals.

Lionel Messi only scored 717 goals so far, but given his extraordinary record of scoring at least 50 goals every year, he might be able to overtake Ronaldo and even Pele.
