After 16 years in professional career, Ezequiel Lavezzi has announced his retirement from football.
The 34-year-old break the news through his Twitter account.

Lavezzi last played for Chinese club Hebei China Fortune, where he spend three years at the club.
He reached to stardom through his career in Napoli and part of a formidable attacking trio alongside Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik, and won the Coppa Italia in 2012 beating Juventus 2-0 in the final.
He left for Paris Saint-Germain, winning four league titles, two Coupes de la Ligue, two Trophees des Champions and the Coupe de France.
For Argentina, he won 51 caps for his country and reached the finals of the 2014 World Cup and 2015 and 2016 Copas America.
