Jurgen Klopp’s message to Everton after Premier League survival win

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has conveyed his congratulations to Frank Lampard’s Everton on surviving in the Premier League, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.

Everton came from two goals down to win 3-2 against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

The win means that the Toffees will stay in the Premier League for next season.

Liverpool manager Klopp has congratulated Everton on staying up, and has pointed out that Palace showed last night that Wolverhampton Wanderers will be determined to win against them on Sunday.

The Reds will face Wolves on the final day of the season, while Manchester City will take on Aston Villa.

Klopp told The Liverpool Echo: “Congrats by the way for Everton, for staying in the league, but [Palace] are a good example that everyone plays to win [in PL].

“I am not concerned about [Villa]. It’s disrespectful to Wolves. They come here and want to win.”

In our view, Everton have had a very disappointing season, especially when you consider what Liverpool could potentially do.

Liverpool have already won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup this season, and could clinch the Premier League and the Champions League as well.

Everton have survived in the Premier League with just one more round of matches left.

Yes, there is a lot of euphoria among Everton fans now, but we cannot ignore how dire the Toffees have been the entire campaign.

Things have to be better next season.

They simply have to.
