Player that Erik ten Hag cast out of Man United shines in huge Bundesliga win over Bayern Munich

Things are certainly not looking rosy for Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag apart from his side’s dismal 1-1 draw against a dominant Brentford selection, as outcast Jadon Sancho is apparently acquitting himself well in the Bundesliga in recent performances, with his latest stellar performance on Saturday with Borussia Dortmund to claim a massive victory over Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians are now an incredible 13 points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table, which means their title ambitions are now almost as good as toast this season.

Sancho and his teammates ran out 2-0 winners after Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson scored in each half, registering their first league victory in Munich for 10 years.

Jadon Sancho’s overall performance in the match was impressive despite failing to contribute a goal or an assist at the Allianz Arena, with the 24-year-old having 41 touches during his 84 minutes on the pitch, boasting over 80 percent pass accuracy.

Sancho attempted five dribbles and was successful on four occasions, with his best moment in the game coming during the first-half when he displayed some brilliant close control and skills to outdo Bayern full-back Alphonso Davies.

The Man United outcast also contributed a key pass and won four of his five ground duels. He lost possession eight times but completed an interception.

The 24-year-old may have endured a difficult start to life back in Germany after joining Dortmund on loan from Manchester United in January, but the dust around him in the Bundesliga seems to have settled around him as he has delivered some brilliant performances in his last few outings.

The Bundesliga giants are said to be keen on extending the winger’s stay at the Signal Iduna Park to make his move permanent and are willing to pay half of what they were paid by United for him.
