Man Utd throws £130m price tag for Paul Pogba at PSG

Manchester United are still weighed down with considerations regarding the future of French World Cup star Paul Pogba and have given an indication they would be willing to sell the Frenchman to affluent PSG should the Ligue 1 champions be willing to stump out £130m for the talented midfielder.

Injuries-plagued and benched for the better part of the season or not, the French Ligue 1 champions have been linked with a move for the World Cup winning Pogba as speculation about his Old Trafford future continues to ebb and flow like the tides.

Reports say that Pogba is apparently open to the idea of joining PSG, who could be willing to hand him a bumper contract worth in excess of £400,000-a-week. The reports also claim that Pogba would like to link-up with PSG superstars Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and former United player Angel Di Maria.

Pogba has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Old Trafford since last summer after he and his controversial super agent Mino Raiola admitted that he was keen on a ‘new challenge’, with Raiola further stoking the flames of speculation by adding that he would like to see Pogba return to Juventus.

Both Real Madrid and Juventus are keen on signing Pogba, but it remains to be seen if either of them can afford the 26-year-old.

One club that would not have problems digging into their till to secure Pogba is PSG, who are bankrolled by the backing of billionaire owners Qatar Sports Investments.

President Nasser Al-Khelaifi remains determined to see PSG win the Champions League and knows signing Pogba would be a huge boost to the team’s chances of conquering Europe.
