In-demand Birmingham City midfielder, Jude Bellingham, who has been highly sought-after by Bayern Munich and Manchester United is reportedly set to reject both in favour of moving to Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Only 16 years old, Bellingham is having a great time enjoying an impressive breakthrough campaign in the second division of English football. The up and coming midfielder has caught the attention of various clubs across Europe even in this early juncture of his career and has emerged as a crucial player for his Birmingham side this season having had 35 senior appearances to his name in all competitions and scoring four goals with three assists.
Bellingham’s stellar performances have made him a primary target of interest to some of Europe’s main clubs with reports claiming last week that the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea are all willing to nod acquiescence to Birmingham City’s asking price of 30 million pounds to sign him in the summer.
SportBILD has reported that the gifted young teen will be declining offers from Manchester United and Bayern Munich as he apparently prefers wants to play for the Black and Yellows next season.
Although Borussia Dortmund were keen to sign Bellingham last summer when they could have had him on a free transfer the youngster ended up staying with Birmingham City. However it now it looks likely that Dortmund are about to finally get what they want despite continuing keen interest from the other clubs. On that front, Bellingham is known to have recently visited Manchester United at their Carrington training ground, with the Red Devils apparently confident of concluding the deal, which may not materialise after all if Bellingham truly has Dortmund firmly sighted in his crosshairs.
