Willian is so satisfied with life at Chelsea that he wants to stay in London until he is 40 years old.
That is actually a reference to his contract talks which as he enters the final six months with Chelsea.
“Everyone knows how I love this club and how I enjoy to play for Chelsea. If I can, I will stay here until I am 40 years old but football is not always like this,” he told Sky Sports.
“I like to play here. It’s not only my decision, we have to decide together with the club. We’ve had some conversations.
“I hope I can say to you guys that I will stay but now I cannot say.”
Since Willian only have six months left, he is allowed to speak to anyone other than Chelsea.
If Chelsea ended up signing Jadon Sancho, Willian might have to move on after staying at London for more than five years.
