Manchester United’s ‘Sancho ‘n Sanchez’ twin act a done deal

It looks like Manchester United have finally clinched their deal and got their man as all the papers today are leading on the news that United are on the verge of signing Jadon Sancho in a deal worth up to £110million – a record British transfer United’s move for the England starlet has been hailed as a massive statement of intent.

Now all thoughts are on whether this move wIll turn them into title challengers?

United has been reported to be close to completing a British record deal for the Dortmund star worth up to £110million as the German club have set a deadline of August 10 for the deal to be done and an agreement between the two clubs is almost there.

United are also understood to have already agreed personal terms with Sancho on a £220,000-a-week long-term contract, with the forward wearing United’s iconic No 7 shirt and will return to Manchester after leaving the Etihad for the Bundesliga to join Dortmund

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez is confirmed joining Inter Milan on a free transfer with the Chilean forward having two years still to run on his £560,000-a-week Manchester United contract.

Sanchez has agreed to shred the deal to join Inter on a free transfer, with the Italian club paying him £125,000-a-week after tax. Sanchez is managed by Antonio Conte, having spent the season on loan at Inter. The permanent move will finally mark the end of a horrendous spell at Old Trafford for the former Arsenal star, who made only 45 appearances in all competitions over two seasons and managed to score only five times.

Sancho and Sanchez’s moves are fortuitously linked as the latter’s outgoing move will save United a fortune on wages although the club are expected to hand the 31-year-old a pay-off for leaving early.

Looks like all’s well will end well, after all.
