[VIDEO] Jurgen Klopp: We are not 5-0 down

Liverpool surprisingly beaten 1-0 by La Liga side Atletico Madrid, despite having 73 percent possession throughout the first leg of Champions League Round of 16.

The home side took the lead as early as 4th minute through Saul Niguez, but Liverpool unable to find an equalizer until the final whistle.

However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is adamant that they could overturn the deficit for the second leg next month.

“We are not 5-0 down.

“We don’t think it will be easy but as long as we can get 11 players in Liverpool shirts we will give everything we have. And for all the Liverpool fans that can get a ticket – welcome to Anfield.”

Manager Diego Simeone couldn’t help from being delighted to end Liverpool winning streak.

“Tonight is one of those nights you don’t forget,” said Simeone. “We haven’t gone through but we have beaten the best team in the world.”
