Real Madrid have agreed to sign Brazilian midfielder Reinier Jesus from Flamengo for a €30 million.
They activated the release clause after it was reduced from €70 million after signing a new contract with Flamengo.
However, Real have to wait until Jan 19 to sign the wonderkid on his 18th birthday to avoid getting in trouble with FIFA over transfers of underage players.
Reinier has been courted by top European giants including Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
Reinier is expected to join Real Madrid under-19, Castilla which is coached by Real legend Raul Gonzalez.
He will be joining the likes of Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Silva and Rodrigo as part of Brazilian contingent who joined Real Madrid in recent years.
Reinier is also the second Flamengo player to join Real after Vinicius Junior two seasons ago.
