Lionel Messi will not travel to Milan to face Inter in the final Champions League game, despite scoring a hat-trick during 5-2 victory over La Liga side Mallorca.
Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde has decided to leave Messi out of the squad since the Blaugrana have already qualified for the Round of 16.

The stake of the game however, lies on Inter who must beat Barca to progress and hopes for Borussia Dortmund to lose against Slavia Prague.
The decision to leave Messi, is also understandable.
Barca will travel to Anoeta to play Real Sociedad on Dec 14 and Messi will almost definitely available for El Clasico on Dec 19.
It could be the most important match of the season for Barca.
