Cristiano Ronaldo expected to have a new strike partner at Juventus next season

It now appears Cristiano Ronaldo is more likely to have Arkadiusz Milik as his Juventus strike partner next season rather than Arsenal’s hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports say.

Juventus have been hoping to strengthen their attack come the summer transfer window, with reports that Gonzalo Higuain is expected to be leaving. And contrary to rumors that had been circulating earlier in the season, it appears now that Milik could be the candidate ahead of Aubameyang.

Juventus are determined in their pursuit of a new attacker this summer to assist Ronaldo, with the Old Lady reliant on the Portugal international this season.

The 25-year-old has scored 25 goals across all competitions for the Serie A giants, 13 more than Paulo Dybala and 17 more than Higuain.

Juventus were earlier hopeful that the appointment of Maurizio Sarri would breathe new life into Higuain but the Argentina international has been struggling this season and is now expected to be sold when the transfer window reopens again.

Sources from Juventus have apparently played down reports linking them with the Arsenal striker as the Bleacher Report say it’s currently Milik, rather than Aubameyang, the Old Lady want to sign to help Ronaldo out.

This latest development would be welcome news to the rest of Europe’s top flight clubs as the Arsenal striker is certainly not short of suitors for his goal-scoring talents and exploits.

Barcelona have also all this while been linked with Aubameyang as they continue to prowl for a replacement for Luis Suarez, who is already beginning to enter his twilight years .

Real Madrid have also long been known to harbor an interest in the Gabon international and could be planning to make a move for him.

Chelsea were the initial frontrunners gunning for Aubameyang but, with the securing of Timo Werner, the Blues would most likely back off the Arsenal hot rod.
