Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Marcus Rashford discuss Jadon Sancho’

Marchus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are known to be close friends, and Rashford recently revealed that he is keen to team up with his England colleague at club level.

United continue to be very seriously linked with Sancho, although Dortmund have made it clear that they would not be demanding anything less than £115m for the 20-year-old, which could prove problematic financially for even United in the current climate after the pandemic had set in and wreaked pandemonium.

According to the Evening Standard, Solskjaer habitually ‘makes a point’ of discussing targets with certain key players in his team, and the Red Devils boss has spoken to Rashford about a potential move for Sancho to Old Trafford.

The former Manchester City young dynamo has been in terrific form for the Dortmund side this season making Lucien Favre proud by scoring 20 goals and contributing 20 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions. Including his first hat-trick against Paderborn last Sunday.

Sancho’s current deal at Signal Iduna Park is due to run until June 2022. Being tagged as one of the hottest rising stars currently, he is also known to be on this summer’s shopping list of Europe’s other top flight clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea, to name just a few.
