Man United quickly sell Ashley Young, but only for 1.5 million euro

Manchester United have quickly agree to allow Ashley Young to leave for £1.28m (1.5m euros) fee to Italian club Inter Milan.

It was a much lesser compared to the £20 million United paid for the 34-year-old from Aston Villa.

The deal is subject to a medical, and Young is scheduled to take place in Milan on Friday, along the agreement of personal terms.

He has not been involved in the past three games and wants to leave United upon the expiry of his contract.

However, the interest from Inter which currently compete for the league title, has urged Young to join the Italian side in January.

Young has played a massive 261 games for United and was appointed a club captain this season, despite only started 10 league games.

Throughout his time with United, Young won one Premier League title during Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season with the club, FA Cup in 2015-16 under Louis Van Gaal and the League Cup and Europa League in 2016-17 under Jose Mourinho.

Young will joined his former United compatriot, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez who is on loan from the Red Devils.
