English Bundesliga

Harry Kane and Bayern Munich already working hand-in-glove despite not going full throttle yet

Even at this early juncture with just eight games played in the Premier League and seven in the Bundesliga, Tottenham are now sitting top of the Premier League and Bayern Munich fourth in the Bundesliga heading into Saturday.

Although it is definitelhy still a bit too early to surmise if Harry Kane’s timing to depart Spurs for the Bundesliga giants had been a little premature, it is still a decision nringing into instant recall Michael Owen’s move to Real Madrid in 2004 and Liverpool subsequently won the Champions League in Istanbul the following season.

Kane’s form is a major reason why he will surely be instrumental in changing the status quo in the Bundesliga as he has scored 12 goals in 12 games for club and country so far. Although this is barely breaking stride by his standards, he is well expected to spring into full action with guns blazing from both hips as nothing is going to be able to suppress him when he’s fully found his pace in due time.

He has already been pivotal in transforming the way Bayern play as he is better able to drop deeper than his predecessor Robert Lewandowski could, which has brought the best out of players like Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane to give Thomas Tuchel’s side greater variety when they surge forward to break down defences.
