Messi reacts to Argentina’s win over Uruguay at the Copa America

Argentina skipper and talisman Lionel Messi was pretty pumped by Argentina’s 1-0 win over Uruguay at the Copa America on Friday as the Albiceleste picked up their first win of the tournament with Messi brilliantly setting up Guido Rodríguez for the only goal of the game after just 13 minutes of the encounter

Messi took to social media post-match after the win with an accompanying picture of himself and team-mates Joaquin Correa, Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, Angel Di Maria and Nicolas Otamendi chilling and in a very jovial, relaxed ambience.

The captain added the caption, “Let’s f**king go!!! It was important to win today. This will give us peace of mind for what’s coming that will continue to be hard.”

The win sees Argentina move joint top of the group with Chile on four points after two games. Next up for Argentina and Messi is a clash with Paraguay on Monday.

Lionel Scaloni’s side now need just three points from their last two games against Paraguay and Bolivia to secure a place in the next round.
