The England national was questioned about several topics during a live Instagram broadcast and the inevitable topic of his next club destination arose when a fan popped the anticipated question.
A fan had asked Sancho to signal his acquiescence and “take a sip of water” if he was planning to join United this summer, which instantly elicited a prompt chuckle from the Dortmund youngster.
Sancho then proceeded to play along and picked up his water bottle and took a sip, hinting that there could indeed be something concrete about his intentions to join United and making this move become a reality.
The hotly serenaded star who just turned 20 a few eeks ago has enjoyed a spectacular season with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, scoring 14 goals and registering 15 assists in just 23 appearances.
Sancho has been pipped to be Manchester United’s top transfer target this summer as an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s strategy to recruit young talent to restructure his squad talent to mount a Premier League title challenge the coming season.
The England international has been hotly linked with a £120 million move to Old Trafford to join his Three Lions team mate Marcus Rashford. Liverpool and Chelsea are also understood to be keen on the talented forward who is currently one of the hottest in demand rising stars in the continent.
