It’s a bad news for Serie A fans as five league matches will be played behind closed doors this weekend, including top of the table clash between Juventus and Inter at Turin on Sunday because of coronavirus outbreak.
Italy government has put towns in northern Italy into indefinite lockdown after 229 people tested positive and seven died.
So matches in the northern region involving Udinese, AC Milan, Parma and Sassuolo all will play without fans.
However, fans can still attend games at Lazio, Napoli, Lecce and Cagliari, but Sampdoria’s match on Monday is yet to be decided.
Inter match against Ludogorets in the Europa League Round of 32 will also be played behind closed doors because of fears of coronavirus.
Inter were also one of four Serie A clubs to postpone their games last week.
