The Blues’ summer decision to sign Sancho on loan from Manchester United with an obligation to buy wasn’t met with universal acclaim, but he’s so far managed to prove his doubters wrong already.
The squad is now looking extremely strong, particularly in the forward positions, with Sancho more than holding his own so far.

When Chelsea host Brighton this Saturday afternoon in the Premier League, Sancho has the opportunity to do something no Blues player has done since iconic club figures Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard.
BBC Sport has shared that Sancho can become the third player to register an assist in each of his first three Premier League appearances for Chelsea, which would follow in the footsteps of Hazard (2012) and Fabregas (2014).
Sancho came off the bench to provide a match-winning assist on his Chelsea debut earlier this month in a 1-0 victory against Bournemouth. Afterwards, the English attacker started in last weekend’s 3-0 victory away to West Ham and recorded another assist.
Blues fans are waiting to see if he can make his mark on today’s upcoming league fixture.
It’s well documented that Sancho was nowhere near his best as a Manchester United star, but his impressive track record in the Bundesliga paints a totally different picture of the young star winning the hearts of Borussia Dortmund fans with his scintillating performances.
