The transfer saga of Andre Onana is fast moving on with a move to Manchester United now looking inevitable.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that the Cameroonian international is getting infinitely closer to joining the Red Devils with the move now described as ‘inevitable’ as the the Milan-based news outlet has mentioned that the pressure from the Premier League side has been unrelenting.
The news outlet contends that the latest Man Utd offer is close to the asking price of 60 million euros although still not enough. Regardless, details will be finalized in the next two days and the agreement should be reached at around 55 million euros with easily achievable objectives added on.
Meanwhile another news outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that Onana has agreed a contract worth 6 million euros per season with Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have shown dedication in their pursuit of the African goalkeeper and have promised a final ‘relaunch’ to get the signing over the line and the Rome-based media outlet claims the deal will be completed in a matter of days, if not hours.
At this point in time, it is highly unlikely that Onana will report for training on Thursday although he is said to be house-hunting in preparation for rejoining his former boss Erik Ten Hag.
