Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has apparently told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he is fed up with Gareth Bale, according to Defensa Central.
The Spanish news outlet has reported that Mourinho has told Perez about his disappointment with Bale and does not want him to stay at Tottenham beyond the end of the season. It is also alleged that the Spurs head coach reportedly regrets bringing the Wales international winger to back to Tottenham.
The 31-year-old Welsh winger returned to Spurs on loan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020 but has only made two starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League and has scored one goal in six Europa League games for Spurs so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The winger has been left out of match day squads this season, including against the FA Cup tie against Everton in midweek.
Suffice it to say that it has been a disappointing return to Tottenham for Bale, although there is still time for the Welshman to turn things around and make a success of his return to the North London club, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table and win the Europa League this season.
