Jack Grealish extends Aston Villa contract until 2025

English midfielder Jack Grealish has decided to stay put at Aston Villa and commit his future to his hometown club through 2025, after earlier rumors linking him with a move to Man Utd.

”Aston Villa Football Club is delighted to announce Club Captain Jack Grealish has signed a new five-year contract,” the Premier League side announced on Tuesday.

Grealish conveyed that he was pleased with the news.

”I am delighted to make this commitment to Villa. It is my club, my home and I am very happy here. The owners have made it very clear to me how ambitious they are and how they want to build Aston Villa. There are exciting times ahead and I am very glad to be part of it,” he said.

Grealish, 25, a product of Aston Villa academy, has scored 25 goals in 187 appearances for Villa since his debut in 2014.

He also recorded an impressive performance last season by scoring 8 goals in 36 games to help his club to survive in the Premier League.
