Jadon Sancho to be a Manchester United player by end of week

Looks like something definite is happening on the Jadon Sancho and Manchester United deal as the feeling on all sides is that a deal will be struck in the next few days that will see the Borussia Dortmund and England star move t o Old Trafford in a British record transfer.

Sancho himself is reported to be confident of being a United player player “by the end of the week”, as negotiations regarding the Borussia Dortmund forward have picked up pace in the last 24 hours.

The report on Thursday from The Independent is that while there still isn’t an agreement the Bundesliga club had communicated a figure United would accept with the feeling on all sides is that a deal will be struck in the next few days.

Despite that being the case, there is some time pressure being brought to bear on the situation as Dortmund have set a deadline and made it clear they will not sell after they return to their pre-season training camp on 10 August.

The remaining details to be ironed out is the structure of the payments after an initial £60m, and how much is fixed for an eventual £120m deal.

With regards to personal terms, apparently all has been agreed with Sancho and his representatives, with the player excited about the potential move.
