Liverpool’s unbeaten run in Premier Leaegue this season often credited to the strength of their defense, especially Virgil van Dijk and his pair Joe Gomez. But Real Madrid’s pair Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane have a better unbeaten record.
Real Madrid have yet to lose in a single game when they both played together.
That means they are currently in 23 matches unbeaten in all competition, more than Van Dijk and Joe Gomez who have gone 20 unbeaten with Liverpool and Thiago Silva and Pascal Kimpembe (17).
Both Ramos and Varane also in fine goalscoring form, with Ramos scoring five goals while Varane scoring four goals so far.
Together with full-back Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy, they have build a strong defensive line for Real Madrid.
That is why Real are currently top of LaLiga, they are in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey and will be playing Champions League last 16 tie with Manchester City.
