Sadio Mane marked his return from injury with a winning goal as Liverpool beat Norwich 1-0 to extend their lead to 25 points in the Premier League.
Unlike their past encounters, Norwich proved to be a tough nut to crack despite sitting at the end of the league table.
While Mane is not 100 percent fit, the Senegalese shown his class as he came off the bench to score the winner in the 78th minute.
There was a suspicion that Mane had pushed a defender as he brought the ball down, but VAR ruled in his favour.
It was his first appearance since going off injured in Liverpool’s win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in January as well as scoring his 100th goal in English football.
“It was a difficult game for different reasons,” Klopp said. “The wind, the organisation of the opponent and the way we played in the first half made it tricky for us.
“Sadio was fresh and made the difference.”
“It was moment of magic from Mane to win the game,” Norwich boss Daniel Farke said. “We were pretty close to coming away with a good result. The lads left their hearts on the pitch.”
The victory means Liverpool have won 34 in their last 35 league games and their 17th consecutive win.
They are unbeaten in their last 43 games and have conceded only once in their last 11 league games.
Liverpool only need 15 more points to win the league title.
The Reds will turn their attention to the Champions League this week as they visit Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, the place they won their 6th European title last season.
