Ed Woodward wants Alexis Sanchez back at Man United

In a rather bizarre move, Man United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward wants Alexis Sanchez back in the summer, according to the Daily Star.

The report said Woodward does not want to see Alexis Sanchez sold or loaned to another club as they are willing to give him another chance at Old Trafford, despite he currently on loan at Inter.

Meanwhile, the Chilean has made only seven appearances so far after suffering a serious ankle injury earlier in the season, but has featured in the last three games.

Since United did not include an option to buy in Sanchez current loan deal, they could sell him with a much larger fee in the summer.

Sanchez’s contract with United lasts until 2022.

United are likely to sell their players after allowing them on loan in the previous season.
