Ashley Young will join Inter Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season but could still move in January, media reports.
The 34-year-old has played 261 times for Man United, but was left out of the United squad for Tuesday’s 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.
He originally played in winger’s position, but in recent years he has been shifting to left-back, similarly to their former player Antonio Valencia.

There is only six month’s left on Young’s contract, so he is free to negotiate with other clubs.
However United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to talk on Young’s contract so far.
“We can’t weaken ourselves; we need to strengthen ourselves, if any movement is going to happen.”
