20-year-old Nguyen Tien Linh becomes second player to score four goal in a V.League match

Nguyen Tien Linh scored four goals as Becamex Binh Duong hammered Sai Gon FC 5-1 at home on Tuesday afternoon.

It was a perfect game for Linh as the 20-year-old forward becomes the first players to score four goals in a match in this year’s V-League.

His stunning solo performance kicked start on the 17 minute, before adding the second 5 minutes before the halftime.

Linh nodded in from close range on 60 minutes while Nguyen Anh Duc contributed to the rout here by scoring another goal.

Linh then fired in a late strike on the last minute to seal the big win for Binh Duong.

Sai Gon FC earned a consolidated goal by Hoang Thien in the 65 minutes, but it was too late for the visitors to level up the score.

With this victory, Binh Duong temporarily occupied the second place at V-League standings, with the same 17 points with Than Quang Ninh but superior goal difference.
