Hanoi FC strengthen their position at the top of V-League 1 following the thrilling 4-3 win over FLC Thanh Hoa on Saturday match.
Thanh Hoa broke the deadlock at Hang Day Stadium thanks to the goal of Nguyen Trong Hoang in the 23rd minute.
However, goals from Nguyen Quang Hai (25’) and Tran Van Kien (36’) earned the goal advantage for the home team.
It was Pape Omar Faye who netted an equaliser for Thanh Hoa right before the halftime, however, the goal deficit was widened when Do Hung Dung scored a third for Ha Noi in the 63rd minute.
Truong Van Thai Quy sealed the winner for Ha Noi with nine minutes remaining to hand them a crucial three points to restore their six-point gap over second-placed Than Quang Ninh.
