Triple Championship winner Ivan Franjic parts ways with Brisbane Roar

Ivan Franjic has parted ways with Brisbane Roar for the second time, the club announced on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old played 115 times for Brisbane between 2009 and 2014 and won three A-League Championships before signing with Russian club Torpedo Moscow.

Franjic re-joined Roar at the start of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 and made 16 appearances for the Roar last season, scoring twice.

“On behalf of the Brisbane Roar, I’d like to thank Ivan for his commitment and invaluable contribution to our club,” coach John loisi said on Roar’s website.

“He’ll forever be remembered as an integral member of those Championship-winning teams that brought so much joy to our supporters.”
