Ajax striker Brian Brobbey has migrated to the top of the club’s to-get list, surpassing Portuguese international Andrè Silva, who had initially been scouted by Max Hahns prior to Graham Potter’s arrival at the London Stadium.
This season, the Dutch international, under contract until 2027, has logged three goals and seven assists in 28 appearances.
The news is that, during final discussions yesterday, the club gave the thumbs-up for the younger Brobbey on a loan, believing he offers a better fit with greater potential for future development.
The Hammers have struggled to secure their major transfer targets during this window but recognize the need to strengthen the squad.
