Man United’s Antony back in training at Carrington

Brazilian Antony has returned to Carrington to resume training with Manchester United after having flown out to Brazil to defend himself against charges of physical abuse allegations directed at him by three women.

The winger was photographed arriving at the club’s Carrington training complex in the back of a blacked out Mercedes van on Saturday morning and will resume training while his team-mates take to the pitch against Crystal Palace for their Premier League encounter at Old Trafford in the afternoon.

The 23-year-old player returned from Brazil on Tuesday, having been on fully-paid leave to prove his innocence fighting allegations he attacked three women. He had also voluntarily met with Greater Manchester Police for questioning on Thursday and was not put under arrest nor was he detained and was subsequently allowed to return home without restrictions.

United have faith that the £82-million winger has provided sufficient evidence to support his adamant denials of the allegations.

Additionally, the women’s team has also been informed of his impending return to the training base.
