Liverpool are still heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham as there is now an update in the Merseysiders’ reported pursuit of the starlet.
The link between the Reds and their move for Dortmund midfielder has been ongoing for the past couple of years as Jurgen Klopp is widely known to be an open admirer of the 19-year-old, who is poised to be one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market when it re-opens in January.
Linked also with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as Liverpool, it remains to be seen what club both Bellingham and Dortmund chose to make as his next destination, in the event that he should opt for a career move in 2023.
German news outlet Sport Bild’s fresh report has provided an update on how Bellingham’s camp are said to be feeling during the speculation, with the revelation that the England star’s representatives will be firn on their demand for a ‘concrete offer’ to be made by the prospective suitors before their client commits to a final decision on his future.
The report further states that speculation surrounding Bellingham is affecting the rest of the Dortmund squad in a negative manner as it has been alleged that “many players” at the Bundesliga club are annoyed by the teenager’s “sometimes derogatory body language” on the pitch.
Further claims allege that the decision by Dortmund to make Bellingham as the third-choice captain was seen as “controversial” and that this could compromise the hierarchy within the club.
