Liga Malaysia: Fans want to return to stadium, ready to comply with SOP

Supporters of the Malaysian League team hope that the 2021 season will end the waiting moment for them to be allowed to return to watch the game in the stadium and be ready to comply with whatever conditions that will be applied especially involving the Standard Operation Procedures

Despite knowing that the COVID-19 pandemic contagion is not over yet, they see that it can be dealt with if all parties show a high attitude of the soup obedience to ensure that all the venues of the Malaysian League will be merrier again with the presence of supporters

According to one of Pahang supporters, Khairul Hafez Zainudin, he feels that it’s time for supporters to go to the stadium but in a small and controlled quantity.

In addition, he doesn’t feel any difficulties for supporters to follow the set of soups because the same thing is also applying everywhere they go in the country.

′′ We haven’t been allowed to go to the stadium for so long and for next season, I think I might try to give the audience space first because everyone knows what the soup is every time to a certain premise or place.

′′ If the compliance of the soup is quite tight as if it can’t celebrate the team’s success with another audience for example or make a cheerleader, I think we can all follow without any problem.

,” After all, control for viewers in stadium is quite simple compared to other places as entry can be determined by ticket sales and from there, social locks among viewers can be done in the seat,” he said.

Meanwhile, Clay Davis Jainal who is a Sabah supporter, hopes for the beginning, the total percentage of entries into the stadium can be referred to the total of COVID-19 cases in the state with high audience attendance numbers can be allowed to state in the zone green.

He says again, supporter s’ presence is not only important as the 12th player to the team but also able to be attractive to the sponsor to stay with the team competing in the Malaysian League.

′′ To revive the Malaysia League this new season, I think of course the steps to consider audience presence should be judged by all.

′′ Steps allow supporters to be judged based on cases in states that I feel if the venue of the match is in the green zone, maybe a total of twenty to thirty percent of the stadium capacity.

′′ For other zones like yellow or red, maybe a lower percentage since the case is still high and security measures need to be there, I just don’t think there’s any obstacle to enter the stadium as long as they obey the soup.

′′ All parties need to realize the football industry in the country depends on the presence of supporters to inject sponsor confidence to join the teams in the Malaysian League, he said.

While Zuli Kasim, has a slightly different view to the inclusion of the audience of 40 percent of stadium capacity can be allowed and can increase little by little based on the latest cases of the COVID-19 outbreak contagion across the country.

Obviously the supporters of Perak, at the same time, the Malaysian Football League (MFL) should also together hope that supporters can meet the soup if they get the green light into the stadium.

′′ Every team stadium competes with different capacity and the best way is the MFL itself determines the percentage of viewers in the stadium and may start with 40 percent before increasing little by little like five to six percent after two months if the case decreases.

′′ The MFL may emphasize on every team competing to put a steward or enforcement addition to controlling audience discipline in all ways,” he said.
