Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland was thrown out of a club in Norway

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has again hit the headlines not for his amazing goal-scoring feats on the pitch but for being thrown out of a nightclub in his native Norway this weekend.

The 19-year-old is currently taking a break holidaying after Dortmund’s Bundesliga season ended last month. In the early hours of Sunday morning, a video circulated of Haaland being unceremoniously shoved away from the entrance of a nightclub by security. It’s understood that the Dortmund striker was ejected for setting off a party popper inside the venue.

Haaland has been spending time with his father, Alfe-Inge, in Norway this week. After the nightclub incident, his father poked fun at him for the incident, saying,

“Come on Harland, back to training – big city nightlife’s not for you!”

Haaland has hit the ground running since rejecting a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window and opting to join Dortmund instead. The striker has scored 16 goals in 18 appearances and became the first player in Bundesliga history to score a hat-trick on his debut after coming on as a substitute.
