Coppa Italia winner between Napoli and Juventus will be crowning medals and lifting trophy on their own as it will be self-service to avoid from multiple contacts from various people during the ceremony.
Serie A chief executive Luigi De Siervo said since the final will be played without fans, stands at Stadio Olimpico will feature “digital choreographies” which would be produced with “virtual graphics integrated with sophisticated software”.
“The athletes will help themselves to the cup and medals, so as to avoid outside contact with the squad which is subject to strict controls.
“We are proud to be able to offer our fans an innovative, interactive and technologically advanced product,” he said.
Juventus will be hoping to win their 14th title, while Napoli is aiming for the sixth title.
The final of Coppa Italia will be the first ever game in Italian football, after three months due to coronavirus outbreak.
