Barcelona set to have COVID-19 tests today at their training ground, before returning to a training session as La Liga could return in June.
This comes after the Spanish government allowed La Liga to resume training.
Barcelona confirmed that La Liga has allowed to conduct the tests at their training ground after inspecting their facilities.
It’s one of the major step in Spanish football, moving away from restricted measures.
“These measures cover a period of approximately four weeks with different phases that, in any case, will be subject to the de-escalation process established by the government,” La Liga said in a statement.
Players will train individually, and continue towards small groups training and then eventually to full team training.
With 11 matches left, Barca sit at the top of the table two points ahead of Real Madrid.
