Even with Bruno Fernandes, Man United woeful goalscoring record continues

New Man United signing Bruno Fernandes impressed on his debut, but even he couldn’t inspire his new side as they were held goalless by Wolves at Old Trafford.

The nearest United came to scoring was in the final minute of stoppage time but it’s still not good enough.

“I think someone’s moved the goal posts,” Solskjaer said.

Bruno Fernandes shines during the game as he had more shots (5), more shots on target (3) and made more passes (88) than any other United player.

But in reality, Manchester United have failed to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since October 2016.

They also failed to score in back-to-back home league games for the first time since March 2014.

Wolves became the first team to keep a Premier League clean sheet away against both Manchester clubs in a season since Chelsea in 2013-2014.

United will travel to fourth-placed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
