Erling Braut Haaland makes history as the first Bundesliga player to score five goals in the first two games as Borussia Dortmund trashed Koln 5-1 at Signal Iduna Park.
What is even more special to the record is when the fact Haaland only came off the bench in the 65th minute.
Dortmund already leading by three goals courtesy from Raphael Guerreiro, Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho while Koln scored once through Mark Uth in the 64 minutes.
Haaland then scored in the 77th minute before adding his second goal of the game in 87th minute.
“It’s simply wonderful, five goals, two games, there are worse starts,” said Dortmund captain Marco Reus.
Dortmund manager Lucien Favre is cautious with Haaland due the injury.
“He didn’t train in December due to injury, therefore we have to be careful with him.
“He’s not ready to play from the start, we have a plan for him.”
