Liverpool won FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in history

Liverpool have won FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in their history after beating Flamengo 1-0 after extra time.

The Reds created multiple chances and registered 18 shots with six on targets, yet only one turned into a goal.

Roberto Firmino could have scored more goals, but at least he scored the most important winning goal in 99th minute, dazzling through Flamengo defense before putting the ball into the net, as he took off his shirt to celebrate.

While the title has been ridiculed by some fans, it was the only major title Liverpool have never won.

With the title, Liverpool have won three trophies this year, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
