Harry Kane open to Manchester United move if Mauricio Pochettino is the head coach

Tottenham Hotspur, despite having recruited multiple-award winner Antonio Conte as their head coach, has suddenly hit a rough patch in their season, losing their last matches at home against opponents supposedly a grade below them in the Premier League table. So much so until their UEFA Champions League aspirations for next season are now being seriously jeopardized.

It would not be erroneous to assume that if the north London club is without Champions League football for another season, Tottenham striker Harry Kane would possibly be restless yet again and reconsider his future prospects anew again. The 28-year-old was linked to a move to Manchester City in the previous summer, but an adamant Daniel Levy made fully sure this wouldn’t happen.

However, now with Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino linked to the Manchester United job over the past few months, fresh rumors of Kane heading to Old Trafford are beginning to surface all over again.

The Daily Mirror (via Sky Sports) further reports that Kane is keeping his options open to a reunion with Pochettino amid reports the Argentine would also most likely be targeting Kane as one of his most likely prospects if he does become the next Manchester United manager.

Despite having Antonio Conte as their manager, perhaps a prospect at Tottenham with no Champions League football next season could finally see Kane leaving. This time however it’s all dependent on forthcoming developments in the Manchester United camp.
