Lionel Messi has break various records throughout his career, but he could break another 12 records this year.

1. Beat Pele’s record as the leading goalscorer for a single club
Pele has scored 643 goals for Santos during his career, but Messi has already scored 618 goals for Barcelona so far, and he just need to score another 25 goals this year. That’s very easy for Messi.
2. Win 5th Champions League title
It’s odd for Barcelona to compete in the Champions League for five years without winning a single title, but Messi wants to put behind all the hiccups that has been happening since the last two seasons.
The last time Barcelona claim the European trophy was in 2015, when they beat Juventus 3-1 in the final. During that time, they still have Neymar.

Messi currently won 34 trophies in his career and he only needs to win LaLiga, Copa Del Ray and Champions League in order to beat Ryan Giggs who won 36 trophies with Manchester United, and Vitor Baia, who won 35 trophies with Porto.

Messi currently only 14 goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League goalscoring record.
