Former Muangthong United coach Totchtawan Sripan has been appointed as the new boss of Police Tero for the second stage of Thai League 1.
Police Tero announced the signing of Totchtawan in a press conference on Friday.
The Thai coach parted ways with Muangthong United just five games into the 2018 Thai League 1 season following the humiliating 6-1 loss at the hands of Prachuap FC in March.
This is the second reunion of Totchtawan with Police Tero. In 2009, then BEC Tero Sasana promoted Totchtawan to be the player-coach, in which the former Thailand international managed the club to finish in the fourth place of the table and reach the final of FA Cup.
Following spells at hometown club Saraburi and Police United, Totchtawan joined Muangthong in 2016 and immediately did the double – League and League Cup – in his first season.
He followed it up with the League Cup, Thailand Champions Cup and Mekong Club Championship the following year.
