Coach Totchtawan Sripan extends contract with Muangthong United

Muangthong United have extended their contract with head coach Totchtawan Sripan to two more years, according to the club’s official statement on Facebook.

“Totchtawan has helped bring great success to the club these past two seasons, including AFC Champions League, League Championship, and League Cup victories,” Muangthong vice president Wilak Lohtong said.

Meanwhile, Totchtawan expressed his gratitude to the club: “I did not hesitate to renew. With the winning of the League Cup this season, and the improvements made from the mid-season, I’m very confident looking forward.

I’d like to thank for the trust and faith they have placed in me. Of course, I will seek continued improvement. Thank you also to the fans who for these past two years have always been behind the club.”

Since joining Muangthong in early 2016, the former Thailand international guided Kirins to a Thai League 1 title, two League Cup trophies and a Thailand Champions Cup.
