It had been so long since FC Seoul brought happiness to their fans. Having gone 1-3-3 in the league, FC Seoul were sitting on the tenth of the league table.
The match against Daegu on April 21 changed the team’s atmosphere, however. Seoul dominated the game and defeated Daegu 3-0.
Hwang Sun-hong admitted that the team “had had a lot of confusion in terms of tactics.
“We tried to tap on our fortes, and think we managed to do so to some extent. Of course, we are still on our way.”
2002 World Cup star Hwang has been under criticism for the team’s current form. “I still feel sorry for letting down fans. Though we won, I still have a heavy heart. I will do my best to regain fans’ support.”
