Vietnam stayed firm as Southeast Asia’s number one team following the release of the FIFA world rankings for February.
Since there was no official match last month, the rankings in the SEA region did not fluctuate.
Vietnam (112) once again topped the region, followed by Philippines (123), Thailand (129) and Myanmar (142).
While Germany claimed the world’s top spot, five-time world champion Brazil remained in the second spot.
Portugal, Argentina and Belgium followed in third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
In the Asia region, Iran, who climbed up to 33rd place in the world ranking, still kept their first place.
The top four other Asian teams ranked by FIFA were Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
