In a meeting on Friday, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) unveiled its new crest for the national teams.
The new crest depicts the image of the Golden Dragon on the lotus, which has been the symbol of prosperity, power and luck, will apear on the Vietnam national teams jersey to be released next year.
According to VFF, the dragon is designed in the trendy minimalist style to bring youthfulness and dynamism to the constructing plans of Vietnam football.
Moreover, based on “feng shui”, the dragon with a pearl in its mouth is portrayed as a symbol of prosperity. In this design, the “pearl” is styled into the ball, while the word “Vietnam” is designed with the modern font to highlight the brand identity of Vietnam national football teams.
The new crest has been presented by VFF to the public over the year and received generally positive comments.
