Newly-appointed coach Park Hang-seo sets a target of leading Vietnam national team break into top 100 in FIFA world ranking when his contract ends.
“I did not have much information about Vietnam football when I first heard about them. But I have made some research and event went to observe the qualifier between Vietnam and Cambodia yesterday,” Park told local media, as reported by Zing.vn.
“My goal is to help Vietnam climb into the top 100 in FIFA ranking by the end of my term,” he insisted.
On Wednesday, the Korean signed a two-year contract with Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in Hanoi. After that, he will return to his homeland to complete the coaching job with Changwon FC at K3 League until 23 October.
