Luiz Felipe Scolari is set to leave Guangzhou Evergrande after almost three years in charge, the Brazilian coach confirmed on Thursday.
With his contract expiring next month, Scolari has turned down the chance to extend the deal, as reported by Reuters.
The former Word Cup winner initially signed the 18-month deal with Guangzhou in 2015 but extended his contract after leading the team to AFC Champions League title.
Since joining the club in 2015, Scolari has won two Chinese leagues, one Chinese Cup, two super cups and an Asian Champions League title.
With only three games remaining, Guangzhou Evergrande has been tipped to hand the Chinese Super League title with 6 points ahead of city rivals Shanghai SIPG.
